Valentine started her professional journey in the litigation department of ENSafrica, Africa’s largest law firm. She specialised in environmental, employment and competition law, and also maintained a diverse civil litigation practice. After seven years of sharpening her legal expertise as a legal practitioner, Valentine was appointed to the judiciary where she spent 3 years serving as a Magistrate, building a strong reputation for fairness and dedication during her time at the bench

 

She specialises in adjudicatory work, acting as chairperson in disciplinary committees and arbitrator in legal disputes. She is recognised for her competence and integrity, bringing a refreshing, grounded approach to her work.

 

Valentine is a certified yoga teacher. She has found that both yoga and legal practice share a common thread: discipline, patience and the ability to remain centered when everything around is in motion.
